Victim Notification (VINELink)

The Illinois VINE or Automated Victim Notification (AVN) System is a service through which victims of crime can use the telephone or internet to search for information regarding their offender’s custody status and register to receive telephone and email notification when their offender’s custody status changes. Crime victims can also search and register for up-to-date information about their court cases. The service is brought to Illinois by the Illinois Attorney General’s Office.

VINE is the nation's leading victim notification service that allows crime victims, witnesses, or concerned citizens across the USA to obtain timely and reliable information and the custody status of offenders, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, over the telephone, via the web, email, or by mail.
