Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy is a form of therapy to help you get back to performing activities required in daily life.

Our therapy team assists residents in strengthening, learning to manage their own dressing and bathing skills, learning to manage basic household skills for cooking and cleaning, and using modalities for pain and muscle re-education. This is all to allow residents to be safe and independent when they return home. Other areas occupational therapy can address are wheelchair needs, lymphedema management, and shoulder impairments. Our occupational therapy team has over 25 years experience and the ability to assist any residents regardless of their diagnosis or needs.

Give us a call at (309) 636-3600 if you have questions, or stop by the therapy room when you take a tour of Heddington Oaks.
